Welcome Winter!

We finally got some snow! It has been a pretty dry year so far. Collin was so excited when he woke up to find that it had snowed outside! He couldn't wait to get on his snow gear to head out to play in it!After Collin had been outside for about 5 minutes, he said, "Let's go inside now." That's why Jesse is laughing here!
Ty was fascinated with the snow. This was his first real encounter with it. It's tough being an unsteady baby on a normal basis...but when you put large snow boots on and add uneven snow on the ground, it's nearly impossible to walk a couple of steps without falling!Collin throwing a snowball at Jesse!

Wish Upon A Star, on the Toilet...

A Mother/Son toilet moment to be remembered...

Collin (while sitting on the toilet): "Mom, will you let me go outside when it's dark so that I can wish on a star that I can stay a little boy forever?"

Me: "Sure."

Collin: "Thank you for letting me do that."

Me: "You're Welcome."(...while wiping his little bum...)

Collin: "Sorry that you have to do that because I know it's yucky. Mom, if there's another wishing star, I'll wish that dad doesn't have to go to work anymore so that he can stay home and wipe my bum."

Me: "That's a great idea! I'll second that wish!"

Current T.V. Show of Choice

Collin currently LOVES to watch:

"Tom and Jerry"and "Spongebob Square Pants"
He could watch both of these shows all day! We have to make a conscious effort to make sure he doesn't watch TOO MUCH t.v.!

Collin and the Christmas Tree

Collin absolutely loved to help decorate the tree this year. He is finally old enough to leave the tree alone once it is decorated. He was a great helper and arranged the ornaments perfectly on the tree.
